What's a token?
A token is the unit Staffer uses to measure work — each search query, candidate scored, and outreach drafted consumes tokens. A typical job uses ~250K tokens across the full pipeline.
Why not per-seat pricing?
Because we're trying to reduce the number of people it takes to run hiring — if you end up needing a big seat count to use Staffer, we've sort of failed. Seat pricing also punishes you for inviting the whole team: hiring manager, recruiter, ATS admin should all be in the tool. We'd rather usage scale with hiring volume than headcount.
Is there a minimum?
No monthly minimum. If you hire one role this quarter, you pay for one role. No automatic volume discounts — talk to us if you're hiring at scale and we'll work something out.
What about annual contracts?
Coming for teams hiring at scale — annual commitment, dedicated success, custom data residency, and a signed DPA. Talk to us if that's you and we'll figure out the right shape together.
